While the March children enter the threshold of adulthood in the 1860's, they go through many ups and downs in life and endeavour to make important decisions that can affect their future.

While the story mainly focused on the Famed Sister's, Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy, this is the story of the only March son and eldest child Simon, and his newly found friend Eleanor Laurence, the older sister of the ever so charming Theodore Laurence.
