Subject 'X'. For as long as she could remember, that's what she went by. From the second she woke up until the minute she laid down, Cherry's days remained ever unchanging. Early morning training? Check. Afternoon solitude time? Check. Evening psych eval? Check? Nightly clock in? Check... Escaping the white walled prison? Check. Killing anyone who stands in the way? Check. Bulldozing into a frizzy haired metal-head who's scream rivals that of a 12 year old girl in the middle of the woods while being chased by the white walled prison guards... Check?
Eddie Munson lived a rather plain life, at least in his eyes, that is. Wake up, go to school, undergo the incessant judgment of his 'clearly have nothing better to do with our lives' peers, smoke, shred, go to bed and then repeat the next day over and over again until inevitably going insane. That's how he imagined his life to be until the day he finally graduated and perhaps finally grasping that diploma would somehow turn his mundane existence into something more exciting.
Well, turns out it wasn't going to be a measly piece of paper that flipped his world upside down but instead, a strange red haired girl he manages to collide with in the middle of the woods at a hour only owls are supposed to be shuffling at. If the high pitched scream he let out didn't make the best impression, well the sedative filled dart that landed in his ass definitely did.
Monsters, Secret Facility's, Alternate Dimensions and .. her. There was no damn way Eddie could continue the humdrum he called his existence while running around with a girl who could control people with her mind and who had just about every secret government agency unknown to man out to get her.
