Spin-off of my short story waiting. 12 years after the death of his big brother chase, todd has moved to california with his father and mother due to his father’s new job. he is a shy and quiet boy. He is very open-minded but to scared to take chances. He strives to get good grades and make his parents proud but his parents worry since he doesn’t have many friends. But when he meets rubin he is suddenly thrust into a world of taking chances in both life and love.

She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
