Taking place not long after the defeat of the villainous artificial intelligence known as Ultron, the escaped Asgardian prisoner, Loki, returns to Midgard in search of his former weapon to ensure he maintains his newfound freedom and to assist him in a rise to power. Upon discovering that the most essential part of his scepter has since been repurposed, he sets his ambitious sights on locating the synthetic Avenger they call The Vision. With neither Loki nor his own teammates knowing his current whereabouts, it proves to be a difficult task.
