Move Along

Keep moving. Keep breathing. Keep existing. It's basically all Charlotte has been doing for years now. Ever since her father mysteriously disappeared, her mother has spiraled further and further down into her own world. Now, Charlotte is being shipped across the country to live with her grandfather who she has never even met. She may have been named for Charles Marshall, but she couldn't have picked him out of a line up. The fact that he looks young enough to be her father doesn't really help. The man is a recluse who hides in his old plantation style mansion and is convinced he needs to keep her hidden away for her own good. Maybe her mother hadn't been completely wrong when she had been muttering about people coming after them. Maybe there was a reason she had gone insane to begin with. Where was her father ? Who were they all hiding from ? Better question: WHAT were they all hiding from? Unfortunately, she was about to find out.
