After Legolas broke Raina's heart, she vowed that she would never let anyone make her feel that weak again.

But she was no longer with the fellowship, and there was no one to protect her. Separated from Merry and Pippin during an ambush by the Rohirrim, Raina is taken to Isengard as Saruman's prisoner, and she discovers what it's like to be truly alone and defeated.

Will she survive the torture Saruman and Sauron have in store for her, or will she break for the last time?

"I swear an oath to protect my people, to serve my people and to fight for my people, until I am released by my lord or death do take me" What does it mean to be a soldier of Gondor? As the first female Captain she was revered by many, loved by few and hated by some. Her only goal in life was to fight bravely for her people just as her father once did. She is known throughout Gondor and beyond as a great warrior but what becomes of her when she is banished from Gondor? She spends her days wandering the wilderness until she receives a strange letter which could change the course of her life forever. *All original plot lines and characters belong to J.R.R Tolkien*
