"Who are you?" The mystery girl asked with an angry tone.
"Why should I tell you who I am if I don't know who you are?" Aayla countered.

'They pulled the chair across from me out and sat in it. The tavern carried on when the figure made themselves comfortable. My grip tightened on the hilt of the dagger. They pulled the hood of their cloak off and unclasped it. Their movements were relaxed and unhurried. I ran my eyes over him. He had strange black, swirling tattoos on his neck and long, pointed ears. His clothes were plain. I crossed my arms and sat back in my seat, keeping my eyes on his piercing midnight blue ones. He cocked an eyebrow. "Well?" I narrowed my eyes. "Well, what?" "What's your business here?" "I should be asking you that, considering you silenced a room by being in it." "Fair enough." He paused as the bartender brought another tankard over. "I'm looking for a travel companion." His voice was as deep as the shadows surrounding us. "You're an elf... Don't they prefer to travel on their own?" "Fae," he corrected as he pulled a pipe out of thin air. A black wisp of smoke surrounded his hand as he did so. "But yes, we do. I, however, have had enough of my thoughts being my only company." I nodded. "So?" He raised his eyebrows. I shook my head sadly. "This is something I need to do. Alone." "Alright." He looked a bit disappointed, which was odd, considering we had just met. ' What happens when you're going to kill the Unnamed One and meet a mysterious fae on your journey? Do you trust him, or leave him? And what do you do when you find out what he's been hiding? Iowyn Aedithas is on a quest to save her guild. A quest that could potentially be lethal for her. In the woods south of the capital, a man born of magic wakes after a long sleep to experience his first taste of tragedy. Broken by the loss of one who cared for him, he becomes a monster he's never transformed into before. When he wakes up, a small rabbit-girl who calls herself a beast-bunny and a young man that smells of fear have cleaned the blood from his hands. Others' blood. But when he leaves them to mourn his caretaker and cope with the lives he has taken, he is shown the truth of his being. As a guardian called a Stag, he must venture into the world and make it better, but he will need to find the ones who helped him first. The nameless one has never ventured outside of the woods before and, in his attempt to locate those he searches for, is arrested. It seems the capital believes them to be murderers, and if not for the intervention of a captain who knows what he is, Nameless might have failed his quest before beginning it. By the help of a demon, he reunites with those who cared for him in the woods, and he starts the seemingly impossible task of discovering what exactly happened to turn his companions into criminals and save them if he can. If he cannot, he will have lost his first friends and the only ones he has come to trust to help him save their lands' magic and heal the world he finds falling apart all around him.
