Emma Spencer just turned nineteen. It wasn't like she expected, she didn't plan on turning nineteen in New York City alone. Well, not totally alone anymore, if those two pink lines on the pregnancy test are right. She doesn't know what to do; she planned on moving to New York City, playing piano at Juilliard, finding a guy to marry eventually, then have kids. Matthew Hutchinson just found out his girlfriend that he thought he was going to marry had been cheating on him for a year now. He's done with relationships and just the female population as a whole, except for his aunt who raised him. He wishes he could just take a break from New York. Get away from the crowds, find a quiet place to work on his photography when he's not at work. So the last thing he expects is to find an amazing girl he really likes, who happens to have found the quiet place he's been looking for. Of course the first woman he finds after Rachel and her betrayal has to be a woman who doesn't want anything from anyone, especially a relationship.
