This book is now available through Amazon and kindle! It was definitely a process getting it published, but my parents wanted me to accomplish this before they passed away, so no regrets. I wish I could work on it again, maybe add layers. It starts off a little heavy on the "romance", and then I think it finds its own groove, but overall I'm happy with the final product. When I read it, it makes me feel less lonely, and the characters feel like real friends to me. I hope you also find something meaningful in my book. I've started on the sequel...Refuge, but it's been difficult to get back to it. He had lost Lily to their arrogant classmate, James Potter, which utterly devastated him, only to find what utter devastation really meant when he lost her again, and finally, to death. He put those memories aside for now...he had relived them a lifetime's worth in his mind over the years. He turned his thoughts back to the present, and the woman who was presently in the very next room. He relented slightly as he felt a familiarity pass over him, and he groaned lightly, feeling as if this wound had been touched at its deepest core, then had been set to healing, and he drifted off into an exhausted sleep before he could put a finger on the source of the warm familiarity he had felt, and the magic that would not show itself until the proper time.
