Vasilisa Harper is a vampire human hybrid. She was born to a human mother who died when she was born and a vampire father who she has never met before. Vasilisa grew up in seven years being cared for by her mother's human best friend named Thea Morison. As soon as Vasilisa grew up after seven years, Thea left her behind and disappeared. The only things Vasilisa had left was the bank account her mother made her before she died that held about two million dollars, a photo of her mother before she got pregnant, and a letter her mother wrote for her to read as soon as she grew up. Vasilisa moves to Forks to start a new life when she meets her true mate Edward and a human named Bella.
