Scarlet Wineheiser moved to Derry, Maine after her older sister, Sterling, overdosed back in her hometown, and her parents were afraid Scarlet would follow down the same path. Following her sisters death, and being in a new town, Scarlet shut herself out from the outside world.

Bill Denbrough's life got turned upside down when he lost his little brother Georgie, he never thought he could feel love for someone again until he met Scarlet. Scarlet, loosing a sibling of her own, bonding with Bill. 

When they realize a demon clown has been terrorising the town, they must find a way to stop it.
