We were trying for so long to find normal that we forgot what it was. Forever we searched, we survived, we sacrificed, but in the end we had us. Us was a strange, very unlikely group of people. We didn't have much except secrets, sarcasm, and an endless amount of obstacles; but despite it all we had an epic story that was cut too short.

It's finally over, the apocalypse. This isn't some nightmare, at least not one you can wake from. But this wasn't at all what we'd expected, humanity is being slowly torn apart by the very thing we feared in youth. Shadows. Living shadows walk the earth, stealing humans and tearing families apart, one of those families being Dawn's. It's now up to her to protect her baby brother Thomas, and maybe even save her family.

When shadows of the past linger, can a chance encounter ignite a brighter future? For one young soul, the comfort of solitude is disrupted by an unexpected connection, leading to a journey of self-discovery, hidden truths, and the blurred lines between friendship and something more. Within the cartography of her soul, a hidden atlas of hope emerges. As the contours of her heart begin to shift, an unforeseen topography of love materializes, threatening to upend the fragile equilibrium of her existence.
