Halo fanon set during and after the events of Bungie's Halo games and before the events on Requiem. 

This story follows the ONI-created Ranger program, a cooperative initiative to create an Elite team of Spartan-IIs and Spartan-IIIs trained for and assigned to tasks of reconnaissance and infiltration. Narrated in the third person following Kenaniah-086 and his Ranger platoon as they carry out high-risk missions, following well-laid plans that never go quite as planned, Into the Heart of the Flames focuses on the untold brotherhood between Spartan-IIs and their younger generation and stands as the companion to the co-authored and to-be-written Born Into Fire.

NOTE: The naming conventions and some aspects of the Ranger program draw heavy influence from John Flanagan's Ranger's Apprentice series (obvious to those who've read him).

After finding a way to escape capture, Y/n decided to go to the only person he knew who could help with this predicament, Tommy Oliver which made sense at the time seeing as he was the Green Ranger once upon a time. Tommy brings Y/n to the Command Center hoping that Zordon would be able to shed some light on this, but the guardian of the Power Rangers knew nothing of what was going on as Alpha didn't either, but the other Rangers figured the green candle was burnt out never to let the Green Ranger's power reveal itself again.
