Coraline started seeing visions from a very young age. She knows partially on what was about to happen and hears the whispers of what is yet to be told. Her coded visions led from one thing to another which makes it hard to fit in a normal school.

Stone-heart high inter-house sport came by filling the atmosphere with elevation and soaring spirits but it all came crushing down the minute she saw a vision about this school being destroyed and blasted into oblivion. And with her being the very witness of this tragic accident before it even happened made her the primary suspect of the bomb blast.

Scared, that she would face a deep interrogation and be marked as a part of the unknown terrorists also scared her parents and willingness to escape this gruesome future kicked through. They were ready to leave this world. But along the fatal smoke fueling in the air, her father got left behind, facing Coraline's very fate instead.

Coral and her Mother left this world for another universe that strangely accepts her weird self, the new world her mother thought she would never see again and to this strange school that teaches teenagers on how to use their abilities and power. The extraordinary school that hold too many mysteries soon to be revealed.

Surely, Coral's ability is not only being a psychic and somehow, this school has been expecting her arrival.

"Getting closer to me is like walking straight into the flames of a burning building." "Then burn me." I interrupted, staring deep into her eyes. "Engulf me in all your raging flames and let's see if I survive." She gazed at me for a moment, her head slightly shaking, eyes warning me, "You wouldn't want that... You'd only regret it." "I'd only enjoy it." I corrected. "I'd crawl through those flames, burning and melting down to the bone if it meant finding that one place of security. That one place that's free of flames." [For some people, the past is a place in your mind where you could reminisce on good times and valuable moments with the people you called family. For Nicole, it's where her darkest secrets lie and where the people who were considered "family" visited her in her nightmares. Trust is almost a thing of the past for her. "Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. Rewriting specifications : the main points of the story and end of the book will remain the same, am just going to change a few ways of getting there and adding some extra spice. Feel free to pause the read until the REWRITING sign disappears.

Original Draft, not the rewrite - lowkey sucks in comparison, don't recommend this version lol wait for the new one | What does society choose to do when children start being born with magic powers? Throw them into a prison of course! That fixes everything. Except it doesn't. In fact, it makes things worse. When young girl, Stella Rophur hears about Project Sunshine, Stella went from keeping her secrets away from just people at school to keeping it from the entire world. The Sunshine Project didn't just bring darkness and strip kids away from having a proper childhood, it actually did bring some light into peoples lives. Stella never had many friends as a kid, she wasn't a very social child, but being at the prison and meeting kids just like her made it easier. It doesn't end there, more secrets about the program and just where these mutations came from are uncovered. Bringing out more darkness and light, Moonlight and Sunshine. Read on to see just how Stella's story unfolds... ~ "Who are you?" Stella asked, staring at the girl with the uncanny grin and red horns sticking out of her head. "I'm anything and everything... The only limit is fear." Stella woke up in a cold sweat, flicking on the lamp beside her bed. She ran a hand through her light blue hair, catching her breath. "Who was that girl? Why was she in my dream?" Stella thought to herself, dreams had meaning didn't they? There had to be some sense to Stella's dream, maybe Stella would find out if she had another dream. "I wonder if she has powers too, she looks like it. I'm not really sure if I want to find out, that was freaky."
