Coraline Cohen is not an ordinary girl. She can feel it deep in her bones that she's not meant to be here, that psychological reasoning that tells you are in the wrong place. In the wrong world.
Coraline started seeing visions from a very young age. She knows partially on what was about to happen and hears the whispers of what is yet to be told. Her coded visions led from one thing to another which makes it hard to fit in a normal school.
Stone-heart high inter-house sport came by filling the atmosphere with elevation and soaring spirits but it all came crushing down the minute she saw a vision about this school being destroyed and blasted into oblivion. And with her being the very witness of this tragic accident before it even happened made her the primary suspect of the bomb blast.
Scared, that she would face a deep interrogation and be marked as a part of the unknown terrorists also scared her parents and willingness to escape this gruesome future kicked through. They were ready to leave this world. But along the fatal smoke fueling in the air, her father got left behind, facing Coraline's very fate instead.
Coral and her Mother left this world for another universe that strangely accepts her weird self, the new world her mother thought she would never see again and to this strange school that teaches teenagers on how to use their abilities and power. The extraordinary school that hold too many mysteries soon to be revealed.
Surely, Coral's ability is not only being a psychic and somehow, this school has been expecting her arrival.

Hidden Truth
Carol is dropped into the plot of her favourite crime novel as a tragic side character with the same name. The character who shared her name was an unfortunate cannon fodder who died to advance the plot and further, the protagonist's drive to solve the crime and avenge his junior officer who was murdered by the final boss. Carol was only mentioned briefly. Maybe a total of 5 lines were used to describe her. She was an intern at the station fresh out of the police academy at the ripe age of 19. She wasn't even aware of the main case that the plot revolved around. The only reason to explain her death was being at the wrong place at the wrong time, which caused her to bump directly into the main villain as he was escaping the protagonist's chase midway through the book. The villain took her hostage as he noted her badge and lack of protective equipment and then killed her when the protagonist tried to negotiate terms rather than simply accepting his demands. Although the villain pulled the trigger, Carol couldn't help cursing out the protagonist when she read this scene as she felt he was equally responsible for her death. Carol ended up finishing the book anyway and as she read the last chapter a sense of frustration overcame her and she left a 'strongly worded' comment for the author, cursing out the protagonist as stupid and irresponsible, she preached that there was no reason to have killed off a 19-year-old girl like Carol (from the book) the way they did and how if a person with common sense faced that situation the girl would have lived. So when Carol awoke in the young girl's body, she had a few thoughts: what the hell is happening? how do I avoid dying? can I speed up the plot to save more lives? Along the way, Carol discovers a surprising ability hidden in the cannon fodders DNA. She has a mystical ability to physically see when a person lies and the actual truth. "What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath.
