What's so bad about being quirkless?
Izuku Midoriya more commonly known as Deku, nerd, waste of space, and useless. Little do those with quirks understand the reality of being quirkless; how hard it is to simply survive let alone live and actually enjoy what life has to offer. Izuku hasn't had it easy in life but he at least has grown up in the real world instead of the pampered and over glorified life you gain if your given the oh so wonderful quirk. After the tragic event of losing his mother his life just spiraled further and further down the rabbit hole. I mean really; what's so bad about being quirkless? Katsuki Bakugo walked through the ashes of what used to be-a society built on hope, now cracked and crumbling beneath his feet. Cities lay in ruins. The Hero Commission was nothing more than a ghost of its former self. And between all this devastation was a silence he could no longer escape. Izuku Midoriya, the boy who once saved him, stood just out of reach, not because of distance, but because Bakugo couldn't find the strength to touch him. Izuku didn't ask for his forgiveness. He only wanted to be close, to be near the person who had hurt him most. But Bakugo was afraid. Midoriya Izuku has been set back further than any other point in his life. If All-Might says he cant be a Hero, what chance does he have? He has to give up and move forward. No matter the pain... An extensive knowledge of Heroes and their world has its uses elsewhere. However, can he truly abandon that need to be a Hero? Can he deny himself that? Or will he give to his compulsion? Yes, I understand the Cover is a bit pretentious. It's almost midnight, give me a break.
Falling (Depressed Deku Fanfic) (COMPLETE)
Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone. He needs someone so badly. But what if there isn't anybody to help Midoriya? How will Midoriya cope when someone close to him dies right in his arms? Warning! This story will contain depression, suicide talk, torture (not explained explicitly), violence, and a whole lot of angst! Also, this story won't contain any ships. So, there isn't any BakuDeku, TodoDeku, etc., it's just a depressing story with Midoriya with his friends trying to change themselves to help him and their own selves in the future.
