Pain of the Whispers

Rice has a normal life or what she seems to think is normal. All she hears are the boring screams and whispers. Are they real? Does everyone hear them or is it just in her head. Whenever she is surrounded by people they pass by without a single glance towards her. From the outside it looks like a normal everyday life. She usually does whatever Mother says just to try and please her no matter what. Somehow she is always displeased no matter what Rice does. To save her self from reliving some of the worst memories caused by Bill's father, it's better to just stay away from him as much as possible but finds it impossible with their circumstances. Isn't that a normal life? Rice thinks so. What do you think?
