One day when Maya went to see Carina at the hospital she runs into Arizona Robbins who she doesn't know is her Girlfriend's ex girlfriend who still has feelings for Carina. Little does Arizona know her ex who she still has feelings for is about to get married and also has another surprise that Arizona doesn't know about. After they run into each other carina invites arizona to her wedding and although she still has feelings for carina she manages to become one of her best friends and end up getting back with callie.
