Maeve is tired of her best friend, Cameron, pretending she isn't in love with her childhood best friend, Arden. Cameron and Arden have been so clearly in love the minute Maeve met them 2 years ago. The cuddling all the time, the jealousy from both of them? And they claim they're like siblings? As if. Maeve has made it her goal to clear all the bull from the air and make them see what she sees. Though, Maeve also has her own problems that arise. She can't ever be just a normal girl and she knows that, because deep down she knows she doesn't belong in the college world she's been pretending to belong to. She knows deep down, even if she does complete her degree, she'll never truly belong out in the world doing better than before. Maeve doesn't expect to finish school. But she also doesn't expect Roman Anderson. Roman is the best friend of Arden. From the same town as Maeve, they've known each other most of their lives. The only issue is they can't stand to be around each other. When Roman decides he's tired of the relationship issues between his best friend and Cameron, he takes matters into his own hands. And when he realized Maeve feels the same, they decide it's time to work together and get these two dingbats to realize what they've known for years.

"Do you see me?" "I always see you." ⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻ It all started three years ago. During that elusive summer that cracked them all down the middle and changed their lives forever. How do you live with that? How do you change all you know and attempt to live the same? Well, the eight of them are about to learn perhaps you don't just get to live with it, and instead, you need to confront the past. Or maybe just fucking pummel it further into the ground. ⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻⎻ "Why were we ever friends?" Dakota mutters, wiping a hand down his face. "Because we all worked well together." Maeve shrugs, "We're all so fucking different. It honestly made this whole thing perfect." Neviah raises a brow, "I think we have different definitions of perfect." "I second that." Victoria hums. "Perhaps deserving?" Phoenix reasons, "We're not perfect, but we're all deserving of each other?" Dylan smiles softly, "I like that."
