Sixteen years ago, the Lites fell from power shortly after the birth of their only child, Violet. Once owners of the Lite Estates, the most sought-after hotel/building/apartment chain in the world, the richest family to live collapsed. 
Fourteen years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Lite were brutally murdered, leaving an almost-three-year-old child to fend for herself. Shortly after their deaths, Violet Lite suddenly gained back her wealth with an odd man named Apollyon at her side.
