Stiles knew what Scott wanted him to, he wanted Stiles to run away but Stiles never did he stayed at Becon Hills no matter what happened and he made a promise to himself that he will protect those you needs his help and so during any supernatural event Stiles refused to help the Mcall Pack directly, so while the Mcall Pack fought of the supernatural, Stiles helped and protected the people when he could and it went like this till graduation, Stiles decided to go to college in Washington DC and he was accepted and went but after a couple of months living in DC, there have been killings in the area he works and live in, so once the BAU is involved they see this hyper active kid in multiple of the investigation, they start to think that Stiles is the unsub.
