Jonah is a teenage angel cadet in His Father's Service. Too weak to be a warrior archangel, Jonah and his friend/rival Asmodel decide to become 'Gatherers'; angels who retrieve souls from humans on Earth. As the time of the first Gathering mission nears, a sudden death rattles the cadets and makes Jonah question everything... is their mission from God just?
