Anastasia Whitmore is a 17 year old Hawkins High student. She used to be the head cheerleader, dating the most popular jock, at the top of the popularity chain herself. That all changed when her world came crumbling down after her parents died in a car crash. Now, she's enjoying her newfound mainstream freedom. With the popularity all gone, she tries to hide in the shadows, having befriended Robin, Steve, and their friends instead.

Meanwhile, Eddie Munson is 'The Freak' of the school. The leader of Hellfire Club has been kept back from graduating for the past two years, having lived in the negative shadow of his peers.
That is until one day Eddie is made a suspect in the murder of Chrissy, the new head cheerleader.

Will the ex-cheerleader/miss popular and the freak/murder suspect make a good duo in solving the conspiracy as to the actual murderer? More so, will they find love and comfort in each other as they do so?

Read to find out!

PS PUTTING THIS IN HERE THAT I OBVIOUSLY DON'T OWN ANY CHARACTERS EXCEPT ANASTASIA AND HER FAMILY, AND HER PLOTLINE. EVERYTHING ELSE BELONGS TO THE WRITERS AND PRODUCERS OF STRANGER THINGS.

Y/N Carter is 19-years-old, and starting over...again. Her parents, government psychologists with secrets stitched into their smiles, have dragged her to this nowhere Indiana town for work. All her life, it's been like this: new towns, new schools, and the same nightmares she can't explain - doctors in white coats, sterile settings, and children in hospital gowns. Her parents insist she was just a sick kid with an overactive imagination. But when she arrives at Hawkins High - older than the other seniors and lonelier than ever - Y/N begins to question everything. Then she meets Eddie Munson. Eddie is chaos wrapped in denim and defiance. He's also the first person who sees her - not just the mask she wears. They bond over being outsiders, misfits. Becoming just another one of the gang, Y/N finally finds a sense of belonging. But Hawkins is shifting. People are dying. And something is shifting inside Y/N - something her parents never wanted her to remember. As the world begins to crack open and Eddie and his friends get pulled into a nightmare of their own, Y/N must face a terrifying truth: the monsters we fear aren't simply the things of fiction. Some live in memories. Some wear lab coats And some... are buried deep inside her. - TW - Smut, smoking, drinking, swearing, weed, blood, violence, spoilers. The Freak and the Jedi

11 parts Complete Mature

Eddie Munson x fem!Henderson!reader [Stranger Things: Season 4] Dustin Henderson's older sister once dated Hawkins High School's 'Freak' Eddie Munson. But what happens when Eddie sees himself involved in Vecna's chaos, accused of a murder he didn't commit, trapped in a world his ex-girlfriend did her best to protect him from? Series warnings: female!reader, no physical descriptions of reader other than being Dustin's sister. This fic contains A LOT of foul language (just like the source material), canon-typical violence and bullying, mentions of grief, neurodivergence, and past abusive relationships. Idiots in love, second chance.
