You and Alcina were close friends growing up since childhood and especially after her diagnosis. You both had feelings for each other but they were always put on the back burner due to her singing career and constant travelling.

You sang as well, but didn't want the popularity, so you only duetted with her when it was only you two. One of the songs you created for her, she never ever forgot (I Miss You - Adele) and always stuck with her after she left without a word to you. It was easier that way.

You fell into a deep depression and endlessly searched for her, but the world was a big place and once you stopped receiving tips, you wandered from place to place. However, you stopped searching after getting into a bad accident that left you with a heavy case of amnesia.

So imagine Alcina's surprise when you somehow found your way into the village to help with village repair efforts. You were singing the exact same song you wrote for her as you worked, unaware of the weight and proof it would bring that you were really there.
