Once upon a time, in a kingdom ruled and dominated by women, lived a boy named Samba Yacine.

The boy was doomed to have a miserable life when his mother died and left him at the mercy of his stepmother and stepbrother who treated him like a slave...Until news came in that their queen was going to choose a husband among the young men of her kingdom, on the night of the harvest feast.

Samba didn't think he was good enough to be the chosen one but his stepmother sure believed the opposite. She feared that if Samba entered the selection, her own son would be overshadowed.

But there was one way to get rid of Samba, once and for all. Oh, it was a terrible way indeed but Aida wasn't going to stop at anything to get what she desired. Except that the boy she tried to defeat wasn't as helpless as he appeared to be.

Bride of Sultan ~ The Forgotten Rose by magicallovely

This was my first time. I patiently waited for the man Dua Begum told me would be my first to bed with. After starting to bleed two years ago, my stepmother left me at a pleasure house when my father abandoned us. Since then, I've accepted the pleasure house as my new home. He walked in a black Kurta with subtle green eyes and a deep voice. The moment he asked my name and age and then proposed to me for the wedding, I fell in love. There was no denying it. I was just fifteen, and he was nineteen. But, ever since the night of our wedding, he has not come back to take me with him to his home. He left me alone, stranded, burning for him. I did not know who he was. What did he do? All I knew was that he was the soul of my World. My Jaan-e-Jahan. Seven years later, he came back as a storm in my life. As Sultan Rehman Sulaiman. The son of the man who took everything from my family, even before my birth. The reason I ended up in the Pleasure House in the first place. But my love for my husband, the Sultan, is bigger than the mountains, deeper than the oceans, and wider than the skies, even though he is himself a Mountain, impossible to move, an ocean, scaring people to stay away, and a wide sky, impossible to reach. Discipline is everything for him. He is full of love and respect for his family but equally heartless and dangerous toward those who cross him. And, in all of this, I entered his life as a burning flame, a tiny candle's flame, dancing for his attention, crying for his affection, and dying for his love. Until he killed my only loved one. My love died. And, his never bloomed. I was once a bud, unbloomed Rose, who opened my deep red petals for him, and he turned them black, leaving me forgotten inside the dying pages. Was I always forgotten for him? Did he never consider me anything more than a mere responsibility? Will I always be remembered as Bride of Sultan ~ The Forgotten Rose? His brother also notices the treasure that lies within the Princess too. The Princess' kingdom is in jeopardy of being raided and their people subjected to war and atrocities. She goes to Pantoran in exchange for aid for her kingdom but finds herself falling for the Prince too. When she doesn't fulfill the stipulations of Pantoran's agreement with Mardalia, her kingdom is in jeopardy of losing its war. The Prince's middle brother steps up to save her when she needs it the most. - He chuckled. "I don't know... I know our arrangement, but I do not see why either of us must do it without...warmth or love. Whatever the outcome I want you to be happy and wish to help you find that." "You are a hopeless romantic Prince Atticus," she said with a giggle and teasing push of his shoulders. "I am too." His face brightened up red as he leaned into her. She sat with her breath held as they both peered into each others eyes closely. He moved a stray curl from her face before smiling and leaning back. "I look forward to wedding you Princess Aisha." - "Yes, Atticus will thank me for this." "Or hate you for getting to try this, in his absence." The princess said teasingly. Or hate me for trying this. He certainly would. Aurelius thought to himself.
