Our protagonist Luz noceda is a 20 year old singer in a rundown city of Connecticut singing in bars and other places to make enough for the protection fees and living expenses.
In a city run by mafia and a corrupted system she has no other choice but to sing in suspicious crouds, broken down bars and wherever else possible Among alcoholics, criminals and addicts.
Her parents killed when she was still young made her keep a single promise to them.
One faithful night the famous mafia lord visits the bar she's singing in along with a witch.. A discussing race viewed by humans. And humans hated by witches.
Both living seperately in separate city's. Brought here.. She even hated the sight of the witch yet all she can do is keep on singing. Knowing full well even the smallest mistakes can lead to death.
Her only option is making sure she stays alive in this hell hole of a city or she dies trying to escape it. Will she be able to keep her promise to her parents? What new issues will appear along side the witch and their business.

❗️DISCONTINUED ❗️ Amity Blight is the definition of perfect. She's popular, a straight-A student, the captain of the soccer team, and yet she's not happy. She's gone through her whole life following the rules and doing what she's told, but will it all be worth it in the end? Luz Noceda is the opposite of perfect. She's an outcast who's seen as awkward and weird by her peers, and her only friends are the characters she reads about. It isn't easy being one of the only openly queer kids in her school. All she wants is someone to understand and love her for who she is, but will that ever happen? The two couldn't be more different, but when fate (or the science teacher) brings them together, will they form an unlikely friendship, or maybe something more? --- In this AU they're all humans, and they're also two years older for story purposes. --- You can expect: rivals to lovers but mostly friends to lovers, angst, fluff (eventually), mutual pining, found family, gay panics™️, Luz being oblivious, Amity having a sexuality crisis, etc. All before having a happy ending, don't fret, my child! --- Not intended for children. At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough? The human realm... Luz and the rest of the group are stuck in the human realm. How will this affect them? Well, Everyone seems happy but Luz still cant drop the guilt of causing everyone to get stuck here. She just cant get over the fact that she messed everything up even though all she was trying to do was save the boiling isles and become a witch as she always dreamed. Luz faces addiction, alcohol abuse self harm, and more. Will she make it out of this mindset alive or will she slowly rot in the guilt of messing everything up. (guys this whole story is a fucked up mess... im just putting my life issues on luz sighhh but aye READ IT ANYWAY!)

Change - The act or instance of making or becoming different. Change in life is all Amity Blight had been wanting. Having to follow her parent's wants instead of her own. Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?"
