Nolan is struggling to understand Lou's teachings and finds himself feeling left out and alone. The other dolls aren't of much help either, they all seem to understand everything perfectly fine. So, as a last resort, Nolan goes to Lou's house and asks him to give him private lessons to help him understand. Surprisingly, Lou agrees and Nolan becomes his student.
