Aster took a sip from her coffee and aggressively tapped the table. Her friends flinched and looked at her, Jackie at least looked slightly embarrassed while Dahlia looked at Aster, pouting. Aster gave out a dramatic sigh before looking at the both of them with eyes full of judgment.

"Is it too much to ask for one lunch where you guys don't flirt right in front of me and my food?!"

When he reaches me, I feel my face heat up and before I can say anything, he hands me the yellow roses. "I think we need a do over, and I'm not letting you go. But um...here's to friendship until then. If you'll accept." He looks so flustered and unsure of himself as I eye the flowers but don't take them immediately. It takes a long time for me to both find my voice and lose my pride. Finally I do something neither of us expect, and hug him by his neck. "Okay," I whisper, and don't let go.

Especially around the time she would be in, if only to be out in the lobby with her instead of having to talk over the counter. Alice was the same as always. She was very good at not showing an effect that his words had on her if she didn't want to. Any time she would say something suggestive or bold, Felix would find himself blushing or stuttering, but on the rare occasion that Felix would try to be as bold, she would just grin and laugh. It took him a while to ensure that she was laughing with him and not at his lousy attempts at banter.
