Zhongli decides to plan the demise of Rex Lapis in order to pass the command of the national order to the humanity, especially to Liyue Qixing. For this purpose, he decides to give the Gnosis to the Archon Cryo of Snezhnaya, also known as Goddess of Love. She destines the 11th Harbinger Tartaglia, to fulfill the plan required by Zhongli. She does it not only for this purpose but also to bring the Archon and the Harbinger closer.

However, when a rather cheerful, but very much dead Childe shows up in Zhongli's living room, plans have to be placed aside. When the pair turn to Hu Tao for advice, she suggests that in order for Childe to pass onto the next realm, he must first let go of all unfinished business tying him to the mortal realm.
