Broken To Make Wishes by euryhale

For someone who knew how to play with words, love was meaningless when loyalty was gone and trust was broken. Eirlys Sitara Fontanilla's fondness of words made her overthink of things that wouldn't even happen. Her life was far from perfection but with her family who always told her not to entrust her heart to someone who had no intention of keeping it forever, she was contented. However, as she grew closer to Placido Lavarias, the man she secretly adored, her feelings also grew. She believed that when the time comes, she would eventually reach one of her dreams- him falling in love with her. But all the things that falls gets broken. People tended to dream unreachable dreams, and loved someone who didn't feel the same. When fate allowed the two of them to find the feeling of home in each other's arms, shits began to happen. With her belief, was it love that they had when she lost her trust right after knowing that the man he once loved didn't keep his loyalty? Could she ever love again after her heart was clenched, and left broken? Or in her state, would she ever wish to?

She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. In an effort to vent, a young individual has been writing poetry, being this his first poetry book, just a collection of some of the numerous poems already written. Most of the poems related to a romantic aspect or a new personal revolution, hence, it is symbolically related in a few of them to one of the historical watersheds more impactful not just for the author, but for the society, the French Revolution, as it involved the overthrow of an absolute monarchy. Meanwhile, for the author's personal revolution it involved a huge empowerment against others, hence, the present poetry book is considered as the modern manifestum for the author.
