Silence echoed throughout the mansion. People are here. Nosy and silent. They want a reaction from me. A cry or a beg just something.

"So we have a mutual understanding." I told him blankly. I'm trying my best to sound unaffected or like I'm not gonna piss myself. This man is dangerous. I can feel it seeping from him I need to tread lightly on what I say.

"I'm not gonna beg you to stay or die if you don't. I honestly don't care. You rejecting me will be your end not mine." Well to late for treading lightly but, the power I held while the words formed felt...good.

He was quite. A dead serious expression painted on his face. There was no other signs of emotion showing besides seriousness. He could kill me if he wanted to right now with no second thought and I don't blame him.

"Alpha Leo I..." The change in the air stopped me. A shiver sent down my spine made my body uneasy. It was him. His eyes fixated on me glowing an intense shade of Amber. I've never seen eyes like those before. He was using his Alpha dominance. He wants me to be submissive? But why?

Confused I pushed the thought to the back of my brain I hurried and walked away from him before he could say anything or do anything. The whole alpha thing never really worked on me but this, this was different I felt different. This was a warning for sure.

Either way he rejected me and I can't have a mate. I need to stay focused and find Killian. He has the answers I my need. The answers to who I am and what I am.
