DESCENDENT [3.1] von Ambire

Arseniy Marinov made a pact with a being beyond reality. It kept him alive. It cost him everything else. Twelve years later, reality is cracking open. Impossible rifts bleed across the sky, and a marginalised people are being blamed for a disaster no one truly understands. At its heart is Hidayat--a privileged boy sheltered by a family that knows the truth: he shouldn't exist. Hidayat knows what he is, even if he doesn't deserve the consequences. The world remains oblivious. Marinov does not. As a healer, Marinov is sworn to protect life. But he lives on borrowed time, bound to carry out an order he cannot refuse: eliminate the boy whose existence is unravelling the world. Exposing the truth would doom Hidayat.
