Arnold Muller builds a time machine in an abandoned warehouse. His hired test subject, Devin, is an ex military man struggling to find financial security. He agrees to be paid ten grand to be sent 12 hours to the future, however upon his arrival, he finds Arnold dead. Murdered by his own invention. Beside him is a note that reads, "I'm so sorry." Initially ruling it out as a suicide, Devin attempts to retrace the last 12 hours of Arnold's day, only finding more confusing information. Eventually, Devin is classified as a murder suspect, because he was the only one present at Arnold's death. Devin suspects murder, but is unable to find answers alone.
