Kamina Mikazuki, a level c, was once a vampire hunter who lived next door to Zero Kiyru, but 2 days after the Kiyru family was attacked, a vampire kills her family and turns her. Her master took her and kept her hidden, but soon he disappears, leaving her on her own. After his disappearance, Ataso Ichijo comes and takes her. He teaches her to respect vampires and eventually sends her to Cross Academy for an education and to wait for her master's return. At her new school, she must survive the other vampires with Kaname watching her every move. She doesn't remember her past before she became a vampire, and her earliest memories are very fuzzy to her including those of her master. However, one thing she does know is that she secretly hates her master with all her being.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
