This year was supposed to be Hermione Grangers year. She had finally completed her N.E.W.T's and is starting her university studies into wizarding law but why does she keep getting accosted by Dragons! She had thought her part-time job at the Department for the registration and control of magical creatures would give her great insight into how they existed in the magical world. She hadn't expected it to involve putting out literal fires.
To top it all off she's realised that Draco Malfoy is broken. The smug arrogant boy she once knew has disappeared only to be replaced with this tortured laconic thing. He's like a puzzle she can't figure out and she's sure she's almost there if only the dragons can stop setting burning everything for one second!
