It's the dawn of the 19th century, but not in a world you know of... Saimonn Kneller, an apathetic peacekeeper, is thrust into machinations beyond his understanding when he is assigned to kill an old friend to with a complicated past, who finds themselves between the cross-hairs of the world's most powerful country. Facing Saimonn not only is a battle between him and his target, but a simple question, why must he kill his friend, and will he even bring himself to do so?
