For as far back as the stories go, the Montain and the Lumbers have been at war, and it has been prophesied that a young human girl who is in her early adulthood will help either the Montain or Lumbers win the war.
You see, the Montain and Lumbers are demons who overthrew the Humans and now rule the Earth. So when any human girl officially becomes an adult, she is taken to either Montain or Lumbers and asked for advice on how to defeat the other king.
Elisa is one of the unlucky humans born in this era. Taken to one of the kings' castles, she, along with some other girls, is sent on a death mission to the other king's castle.
Upon arrival, Elisa is forced to make an unexpected decision: stick to the plan and get saved or risk everything for love.
