Those are the things that you can describe Kate Papers, she is not what we can call a nerd but somewhat closer to a typical girl. She always carries her sketchbook and pen around. She can draw everything around her,especially when the football team captain Slate Porter (a.k.a her crush) is around. She takes an oath that by the end of the year she must catch the heart of Slate. How will she do that you ask?
Send Slate her sketches of him and confess her undying love for him,of course.
Passing through jocks, cheerleaders, hyperactive friends, and crazy ex-girlfriends how can a coffee-scented perfume owner like Kate can catch the heart of Mr.Porter?
Will she be able to do that? Or will she be just keeping her paper sketches?

Highschool Sweethearts
Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Kate hasn't ever lived with siblings before, let alone this many boys, so it's a big change for her. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro. Daniel, however, really couldn't care less about a career in football, he loves the game, but it's his dad's dream for him to go pro, not his own. At least not anymore. He spends most of his free time away from his house and hanging out at either the Thomas or the Copperfield house. He can't wait to go off to college with his friends and get away from his dad and the stupid little town he grew up in. How will things change for them over the next year? This will be a series of 4, but the other books will be spin-offs and can be read as stand-alone books. They will, however, be published in chronological order. Full warning, this book is much shorter than I intend on making the spin-offs. I was planning on writing book two as the first in the series but found myself needing more of a prequel to all three other books, and so I chose to write something from their high school years. Bonus points for giving Daniel a love interest that was more than just a name.Complete

He orders an oat milk latte and asks her for songs that feel like ache. She gives him Phoebe Bridgers. Mitski. A dog-eared copy of The Bell Jar. He keeps coming back - 7 a.m, every morning. Just to see her. It all happened so fast. A double date she didn't want. A surprise she definitely didn't expect. A letter in her mailbox. And everything spirals sweetly from there. Kisses in parking lots, shared headphones, stolen hours. But when she asks him what they are, he says nothing. He just smiles awkwardly. In that moment, something in her stomach cracks. COFFEE
Coffee, my companion, for years as it soothes my disturbed mind and thoughts. It's like my journals whom I can talk with or who comprehends me without saying anything. I take my cup of coffee and add some chocolate syrup that I usually do when I am riled (although I am on diet my bad mood can be changed or relaxed with this combination only) and sit in the balcony, my favorite place. COFFEE, is actually a seed, just like me, somebody has sown seeds of love in my life. I have given my hundred percent to nurture the seeds though I have been to grind my self respect to save the love. I have been abandoned after being used. COFFEE takes me to the days when I got engaged though walking down memory lanes will do you no favors . I never liked coffee and would have never tasted it if HE had not come into my life. Samaira falls in love with her fiance. Its her first love and the last too. The moment she meets him at her home she feels drawn to the charming man. But to her dismay, she is not the first love of her fiance.......and not the last love either... Could she be able to share her life and bed with the man who loves her a lot but she's not the only woman in his life? Would Samaira decide to save her married life as she feels she loves him truly and can't imagine her life without him? Or someone enters her life to make her realize the meaning of true love?Complete

"'Bye.' I say after Edwin's kiss. He gives me a small smile that honestly looks more like a grimace. It makes me a little uncomfortable having him kiss me in the library. Edwin walks away, and someone standing in the corner of my vision makes me turn in my seat. A tall, muscular man is standing there, his arms crossed, staring at me. He's got dark brown hair, perfect eyebrows, and soft brown eyes. Honestly, he's gorgeous. And since I've read, and edited, about five articles about him, I recognize him immediately. Dane Sawyer. He's the best pitcher on our baseball team. He's hoping to go pro, although I'm not totally sure what the process is surrounding that, since I don't retain much of the information from the articles that I read about him. I know that he's also a junior, and that his girlfriend is hot as fuck. I've seen them together on campus. They're hard to miss because they are easily one of the most attractive couples that I've ever seen. I'm convinced that I must be hallucinating, because he makes eye contact and walks towards me. 'That was awkward.'" ~~~ Junior year is starting off chaotic for Mackenzie Brooks as she steps into her role as the editor-in-chief of the college's newspaper. She's smart, focused on school, the paper, and her TA responsibilities. Junior year should be starting off easy for Dane Sawyer.
