"And who do you think I am?" I reply hoarsely, my voice not used to speaking, but clearly startling him. Ash leans forward and I try not to look like a total creep smelling him, but it's so tantalizing.

He slips his arm underneath my legs and cradles me to his chest, trying his very best not to jostle my throbbing leg. I lean my head gently in his firm, yet warm chest and wrap my arms around his waist.

Man, is he ripped.

He sneaks his head down by the shell of my ear and whispers, "Once we get to the rooms, I'll tell you. And then you'll tell me if I'm right." His lips are barely brushing my neck. I shiver slightly and he tightens his grip on me, heading out the side door.
