(The art of the title does not belong to me!) Mathew is in his 20's and has always had trouble with love. Every girl he's been with a connection was never discovered. Growing up he was raised to be very catholic and was taught the rights from wrongs. One of the wrongs being who a person loved. He was told if he ever fell for a man he would need to repent to his sins immediately, it was strictly prohibited. Now that he's moved across states by himself, he's gained more freedom, and he meets a guy, his neighbor. He's just a few years older and lives alone as well. He instantly welcomes Mathew. As the two grow closer, Mathew came to realize something unforgivable...he's gained feelings for his neighbor.. and he didn't hate it.

bxb "do you want me to stop?" Leo says, making my entire body shake. I try and make some words come out of my mouth but nothing's happening. My breathing just gets faster. "Use your words Jonathan." he adds while simultaneously closing the door behind us. Even though some people are firm believers that the opposites don't attract, the two of them seem to be the sole proof of that being complete bullshit. Leo Duncan is -on the first look- one of those typically self obsessed, rich high school jock, bullies you if you're neither of the above type of guy. Or that's at least how jonathan would describe him. But he will soon realise that the frase 'don't judge a book by its cover' exists for a reason. Jonathan Casey aka complete and total book worm despises leo and the rest of his bad boy wanna be group of friends who seem to have some sort of a hold on this fresh hell of a high school. Unfortunately leos best friend is jonathans older brother therefore they are bound to cross paths. Does the constant presence and heat radiating between the two finally show that there might be something more than just hate they share? And does Jonathan realize that there might be more to Leo than what he led on? -- TW: mention of abuse, self harm, depression. mention of smut: tw in chapters where it appears.
