Hollis and her best friend Maeve live in the spectacular state of Washington, and youtube consumes their everyday. They have a channel together on youtube filled with nothing but a half dozen or so nine-year old regrets. One day, on her eighteenth birthday, her mother buys her two tickets to Vidcon. Hollis and Maeve are immensely excited upon arrival and after they meet their favourite youtubers: Amazingphil, Danisnotonfire, and O2L, after hanging out with O2L and Dan and Phil all day, Hollis and Maeve return back home with their glossy head shots of their favourite people in the world, now covered in thin black letters. What Hollis doesn't notice until later is what really counts.. a special someone left his number for her to find..
