A siren's song: the most lethal and mystifying sound to be heard by man. All sailors know the tales of their fellowmen being lulled into the waves by these hauntingly beautiful creatures. All heed the warnings of siren spottings when one wishes for safe travels.
A sailor, Izuku Midoriya, having the unfortunate luck to be washed overboard in a terrible storm and left for dead by his fellow crewmates also had the unfortunate luck to be swept under the sea by the dreaded sirens he heard from folktales.
Having no clue as to his whereabouts, Izuku must escape from the cave he awakes in and from the siren who had brought him there. Only, the task at hand proved to be easier said than done. Without meaning to, Izuku grows to learn more about the siren -- Shoto Todoroki -- as if he were human; learning of the lonely existance sirens live out, using their songs not to kill but to search.
Could what Shoto was searching for be the frightened human sailor he had brought home with him, or had his song led him astray once more? Will Izuku stay with Shoto in the hopes of proving to the human race that there is no need to fear the sirens, or will he be just like the rest of the destructive race and aim to kill in order to escape?

This is a BakuDeku Fanfiction 🔞. Ever since Izuku Midoriya joined U.A. High School and settled in, he knew that the League of Villains were after him and his quirk: One For All. However, when the time comes when Bakugo is the target and is only seconds away from being captured, Midoriya throws himself in the chaos and ends up saving Bakugo, only at the cost of his own safety as he is captured instead. Midoriya is brought back to the League of Villains' hideout and with him there, Shigaraki plans on changing the young boy's mindset and plans to use force against him. When Midoriya isn't able to escape for three years and no one can seem to find him, he begins to lose hope and his wounds only bleed more. Even when he goes back in time with the help of a pro hero's quirk, he is diagnosed with depression and struggles to go on through life. He doesn't feel like himself. He needs someone.
