The story of a Malakai, a young boy who encounters a mysterious lion in a village that doesn't allow lions. The lion, Elio, seems to take a liking to him, as the youth had taken care of him when he was severely wounded, along with a feeling they both shared, driving them to be together. A past calls to them to make wrong things, right. Why was Elio injured. Who was behind it? And what does it have to do with both Elio's and Malakai's past? How will this uncanny encounter change how the villagers sees lions? Who is this mysterious elder who shows up?

Reincarnated as an Orphaned Dragon! by RecursiveDescent
44 parts Ongoing
From an unfulfilled life to a powerful lizard?! Lena(now Lava), whom accepted an early death, is now fated to live the longest! After losing her mother, Lava is taken into a human orphanage and finds a new family to care for. Threatened by the pending demon invasion, the Prazia kingdom funded orphanages to squeeze every unknown talent from its citizens. Lava must now deal with those that want to use her power for their own gain. Having strength doesn't make you invincible, no matter how strong you are, those you care about will always be your weakness. Reality can be dark, and not everything will just fall into place. Join Lava on her journey from baby to benevolent dragon queen! ----- This is my first attempt at writing. Sorry for how bad the early chapters are, I didn't give enough backstory, and introduced so many things I didn't know what to do with at the time and it really backfired on me later. Once I finish this I might go back and rewrite the early chapters. It wasn't until ch.23 that I started to get better. This is realistic themed, in that I don't like nonsense like 'mc saves someone that happens to be a princess', and on that note, sometimes this might get dark, because reality is not all sunshine and rainbows like how most isekai make things just fall into place. If I introduce a moral dilemma for mc to make a decision, then mc is making a decision. There will be no hidden option, no choice to wait for plot armor to give them a morally perfect answer. Also fair warning that my writing tone is quite informal and my vocabulary isn't that varied. Cover AI generated
