In the year 2020 Earth is hit with an unknown energy surge. This gives way to many new technologies and inventions but it came with a cost. 20% of humanity had died and by 2030 the earth would've been uninhabitable. Utilizing this new energy humans find a new planet to reside light years away from Earth.
The current date is January 1st 2080 and welcome to a whole new expansion of human technology
