When Rampart High School in Colorado Springs burns down over the summer, the students are forced to attend a bigger school.
Cheyenne Mountain High School to be exact.
Ty Porter, he is anything but pleased.
After just being voted the captain of the Rampart fight team, he and his friends now have to join the new schools team.
Pro, they're a high division high school.
Con, more competition.
But the competition he doesn't expect, comes in the form of his new team mate, and Cheyenne Mountains fight captain, Sawyer Pazelli.
Sawyer, she doesn't mind the schools merging.
She's got too much on her plate.
A single dad, 3 brothers, and juggling school with basketball and fight team, she doesn't have enough time to mind.
Ever since her mom died when she was 5, it's been her, her oldest brother Troy, her older brother Kaine, her little brother Bronson, and their dear old dad, Rod.
How many times will Ty and Sawyer bump heads. But more importantly, how many times will their similarities come out to shine.
Can they make it work, or will they get Lost In The Fight.
The fight for their team. The fight for their family and friends. The fight for the life they want. The fight for a love they never expected.
I guess, they're about to find out.

"Eli! Seriously this is ridiculous let me down!" I yell as I pound furiously on his back. "Not a chance. And don't ever wear something like that to a fight again." "It's just a tank top calm down. Can you please let me down? Your butt is in my face." "All the better for the view. Every pig in there was undressing you with their eyes." "Oh why do you even care?" Suddenly my upside down world got flipped and pinned between the wall and his body. "Because I'm the only one that should get to think of you like that." His piercing grey eyes were on fire as he held his face just above mine. "Did you drink before your fight? Because there is no way you mean what you just implied. " His tongue flickered across his lips as he smirked. "For once in your life stop fighting and just enjoy this." "Enjoy wha-" His lips crashed onto mine. Hungry, alive, full of passion I had only seen him use in the ring. I didn't want to fight him, fight this, fight his kiss. And he was right, for once in my life, I didn't. **** A Fighter is not born. A fighter is not raised. A fighter is made; only if the fight choses you, and you survive. The world has chewed up and spit out Eleanor Robinson again and again. It began with her parents, one taken by a tragedy, one addicted to horrific drugs, and a brother who's too boozed out to know if she's alive or dead. Alone in the world, Ellie isn't exactly sure of how life works, of how anything works, really. The only two people she has that even remotely understand are Sebastian and Scarlett, a pair of siblings that remind her so much of her own family, it's hard to be around them sometimes. When the trio finally move in together after being friends for almost three years, they end up closer than ever. But the move brings along another problem into Ellie's life. Cole Everett is a fighter. From the moment he was cast aside by his family, he's had to fight for scraps at the orphanage dinner table, fight for a spot in the light of his foster family's eyes, and fight for the love of his adoptive parents. It seemed like he never won when it came to personal battles, but in the ring... In the ring, he owned the world. Years and years of the world kicking Cole's ass has shaped him into the fighter Ellie and everyone else sees him as. But the world has also shaped Ellie, and the sweet, heavy-hearted girl paints on a façade that seems only Cole can break through. As the pair attempt to navigate a decent enough relationship to be in the same room as one another without going for the throat, the people around them float between blurred lines of friend or foe. Hearts clash, past enemies arise, and the pair's hearts hang in the balance of it all.

Trigger warning for the following: -mature content -some strong language -fighting -mentions of abuse Everything was cool. It was fine and normal until, a new family moves I'm next door. The beautiful family seemed normal enough, but something was off. Their son didn't fit into the rest of them. He was mysterious and seemed a little bit standoffish. He seemed rude and like he didn't belong. Meeting him went well, and she catches his eye. Going to school together and their families spending some time together causes them to grow closer. So close that things happen. What happens? Do sparks fly?
