It's about a 10 year old boy that runs away from his abusive uncle. His parents died when he was five, the only person that the babysitter trusted was William. He is a two faced con artist. He acts polite and kind, showing respect to the citizens. But when they turn there back he's selfish, mean. Oliver was stuck with William, he didn't like him but he had no choice. William acted worse and worse when Oliver grew older and wiser. he had runaway, will he survive in a town that he never heard of and make some new friends on the way to stop the evil weirdos running in the town, or will he die. They never make plans to meet there and honestly Jamison would rather the mystery boy stop coming, but of course that doesn't happen, so he has to live until the boy decides to not show.
