Ink had to go on a year's trip around the 'world' in a mere merchant's ship, just so he'll realise that being an artist isn't his job and he has to take over the family's life while becoming the man of the house. His parents promised when he returned - if he Is not an artist and has 'grown up' - then he can get married and enjoy the joys of a family. 

Through this new and rather exciting adventure, he'll meet the crew and maybe become acquainted to the odd one. He's still a stuck up idiot with no sense of the fact that working is not just a hobby and is not for when you're bored.
