Relying on, or trusting anyone else than yourself is a fool's errand and anyone is replaceable. This is something two bounty hunters, Cad Bane and she can agree, but what is going to happen when this belief is put in test time and again during the years?

This story arch covers well over a decade, and follows the forming of a not-easy-to-describe relationship between Cad Bane and a female bounty hunter (OC) while following their missions during the years. Timeline for the story is mostly after the Bad Batch and Order 66.

The story type is on a darker side, including action, but contains also depictions of violence, sex, and addresses other harder topics. They are not heroes, after all. ;) 

This story is a combination of the original "The Concept of Trust", and "The Concept of Trust: From Past to the Future",  as I wished to put the stories in chronological order and refine & correct the text. This is a "re-mastered version" of the storyline.

After the end of the Clone Wars, order 66 was given starting the great Jedi purge, but a small group of surviving female Jedi managed to escape with a space ship they managed to steal from the Imperials and along the way, save an old enemy that turned friend. They are eventually, ambushed by a Imperial fleet, barely managing to get out of it alive after they used their damaged hyperdrive, but once they exit hyperspace, they realize they reached Geonosis and thanks to the heavy damage the ship has taken, they are forced to make a crash landing on the planet. Once they land, they start to search the planet hoping to find spare parts to fix their ship and think the planet is deserted, after the Emperor slaughtered the entire population, but little did they know that there was still a last survivor and what his plans for them will be.
