what are we when the darkness embraces the sun? what are we when the century-old starlight touches the surface of our broken glass windows? what are we when the only thing that breaks the silence is the rhythm of ceaseless tick tocks from our alarm clocks? what are we when our eyelids fall yet the mind still wanders? what are we when we drown not in water but in our thoughts?
