After the attack on New York, a punishment for the god of mischief had been set. Having spent some jail time in the Helicarrier, he is now being moved to the Avengers tower with his powers currently "compromised". . . His punishment? Being around his brother and his oafish friends who are hoping to actually get him on their side.
It was set up by S.H.I.E.L.D., who thought this would be a good idea, an experiment. Unfortunately, most everyone else disagrees with having Reindeer Games around, but he intrigues you.
Not only is there more than meets the eye with Loki, there's more under Y/N as well. . . The past unravels to reveal something far more ludicrous than anyone ever could have imagined. Magic mishaps happen with you and you get deju vu of things you're certain you've never done before. What's even weirder, is you dream of a place you've never even set foot in. . .
Yet it all seems so familiar.
...
"Are you okay?" I step out of the shadows cautiously, watching the god seemingly let his guard down. No bravado or smirks. He just looked. . . Sad. Almost. . . Human.
"I'm fine, Y/N." He was using your real name, and his voice sounded far off. He definitely wasn't fine.
"You're not, but alright." You shrug, sitting down next to him.
"Y/N. . ." Loki starts, but sighs. "Oh, by the gods," he curses under his breath before looking at you with wild eyes. "With everything that's been happening with you lately, I should be the one asking. . . Are you okay?"

I do not own the MCU or Norse Mythology - this is just a fanfic. Rated mature for swearing, mild violence, heavier depictions of violence, some trauma, suggestive themes, alcohol, etc. I will add extra warnings if I believe a chapter needs them and is more than mild swearing and violence etc. Full description inside.
Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd)
Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
Trigger/Content Warning: this book contains mature content, talks of suicide, mental and physical abuse, selfharm, drug use, and addiction
