The Trail to Spring

Maya Ganguly has always felt a sense of loneliness in her heart since the time her elder brother had run away from home. Fourteen years ago. But things were finally looking up when she was able to convince her parents to let her go on a trip with her friends. Maybe she could finally be free from her past once she finds a sense of belonging with them.

But as luck would have it, Maya's grandfather falls ill just before the said trip. Things look bleak for him and so he narrates a letter to her as a hope that his grandson would read it someday.

Maya decides to go out in search for her runaway brother to fulfil her grandfather's dying wish. She enlists the help of her best friend Atifa Hussain and an eccentric amateur detective Rakesh but she soon finds herself stuck in a cycle of revenge, murder and betrayal.

In an adventure that spans from the crowded streets of Kolkata to the serene mountains of the Himalayas, how far is Maya willing to go in order to be reunited with her sibling?
